My thread was inspired by something I've seen shared on social media. A newspaper page featuring criminals sentenced, a trio of men got 6 years a piece for conspiracy to supply drugs but directly underneath that was an article showing a man convicted of multiple child sex offences - he got 18 months.
Drug dealers are scum but IMO paedophiles/sex offenders and perpetrators of DV are far more dangerous, insidious and should be in prison for atleast a similar amount of time if not longer.
Also, where is the justice in the world when you can get sent to prison for non payment of council tax yet somebody downloading and producing CSE images often get community orders?
