I just don't understand why anyone believes this? They're all on about not registering babies and swearing oaths to barons and standing under common law and it's just SO MUCH BOLLOCKS that I'm genuinely baffled as to why thousands of people are taking it seriously. It's quite scary seeing how taken in they all are.

Yes. We are acutely aware of this when dealing with them. Some are definitely very vulnerable. Others I think are bullies who are hoping to bulldoze their way out of meeting legal obligations (paying parking fines etc)

There are clear links between the alt right,

Yes. Also they don't want to pay their utility bills but still want gas and electricity and water.

They don't want to pay council tax but still want their bins emptied.

Don't want to pay tax or NI but are happy to receive pensions and benefits.

They are the most entitled people I've ever come across, banging on about living 'off grid' and yet they are very much 'on grid', just not contributing their share.

FMOTL is utterly bonkers though, and that Facebook group is really quite concerning.
If they help everyone free themselves from the tyranny of taxes and 'illegal laws' I'm not sure where they think the money's going to come from for all of their 'entitlements', and it's rather hypocritical to not only refuse to pay into the system because it's illegal, but also be so happy to rely on 'entitlements' which originate from statute 'illegal laws' in the first place. Make your minds up!

Of course, as a lawyer I would say that so I'll just go back to my day job of paying police officers to pull you over so you have to pay me to defend you
