To ask you to tell me who I need for this work on my house?

I have some funny smallish jobs that I need doing at home but I’m not sure who I should ask - if someone could steer me to the type of trade I’d appreciate it.

1. My driveway has a triangular patch of weedy mud where there used to be a hedge. Hedge has been removed save the stumps. I want this levelled and concreted over so there’s no mud and it’s flush to the ground.

1. My kitchen needs freshening up - painted ceiling and walls, remove and redo mastic/sealant, box in boiler, new beading to the bottom of the skirting board.

I think it’s a handyman I need for job 2 but I’m not sure about job 1 - not sure it’s a gardener or a builder?

I’d just rather reduce the number of people I need really.

I'd get a good general handyman, if you know a good one. Neither are big building jobs and he would do the garden bit too - it's more build-ey that garden-ey.
