Hi all! I was wondering if anyone could share their advice/thoughts.

I was self employed in the UK, and have now been self employed in an EU country for six years. Same profession, same turnover/income pretty much every year, give or take.

Now I'm thinking about coming back to the UK and just wondering how difficult it will be to get a mortgage. I know it's harder as self employed anyway, but will my accounts/tax returns from my country here count towards anything or will I need to start again working up a few years of accounts/tax returns in the UK before a bank is willing to give me a mortgage?

Thanks in advance for any pointers :)
