To expect the government close the loophole on sex offenders changing their names by deed poll?

This BBC Radio Five Live report is proof that successive governments, have known about convicted sex offenders changing their names by deed poll to evade authorities, wipe their slates clean and re-offend with impunity!

They also knew it would mean #sarahslaw and #clareslaw would be ineffective, so long as this loophole exists. Yet they still did nothing!

FFS, it's only got a deadline of four days because it's been open for six months and to date not enough people care about it.

Personally I don't care that sex offenders can change their name - an abuser is an abuser, progress would be locking them up and never releasing them.
