To talk to my pets more than I talk to humans

That's it in a nutshell. The only person I've spoken to today was the man in the corner shop and someone in passing. I live alone.

I have far more conversations with my dog and 2 cats. I'm sure I'm not the only one?! Thank goodness I have them really! I count myself lucky in that respect.

Me and my DH have a cat.
We speak to the cat more than we speak to each other.

Haha I sleep with my doggy

Haha, you've got problems? I'm talking to (and answering) myself as I don't have pets Grin

Since working from home since March last year I have started talking to my cat 😂. Apparently you only have to worry if he starts answering you back .

I have conversations with my dog so much that I started talking to myself out loud walking to the shops the other day Blush (no the dog wasn't with me otherwise that would have been acceptable)

Happytentoes · 17/01/2021 08:52

I chat to my 2 all day. So much so, that they actually vocalise some strange noises back to me. I think they are trying to get me to shut up 😳

Even worse than talking to myself, I said "Come on Handbag, we're going out now"! Grin

I tell my dog I'm popping to the shop and ask if she needs anything. I also tell her not to have any wild parties, which is what I used to tell my children

I'm furloughed and live alone, so at the moment there are several days in a row where the only face to face conversations I have are with the cat. I also do her voice back to me, she happens to talk in a mixture of baby and lolcats.
