I love horror. DH doesn’t. We watched last year’s (?) IT a few weeks ago and he enjoyed it so I’m weaning him gently...

If you love horror and have a Netflix subscription then you'd surely know what's available already.

Plumsforjam · 16/01/2021 21:38

The Silence was good. Not too gory.

covetingthepreciousthings · 16/01/2021 21:38

Not a film.. but The Fall is on Netflix and is excellent.

ghostyslovesheets · 16/01/2021 21:38

Birdbox?

The Invisible Guest

Best film I've seen for years. Honest.

But... it is subtitles. I loathe subtitles but so glad I persisted. Brilliant, clever

Escape room

usedandabusedx1000 · 16/01/2021 21:44

Would you rather

Snooks1971 · 16/01/2021 21:44

Thank you everyone apart from @PolPotNoodle

DH and I have just watched Se7en. Crime thriller rather than horror but gory!
Can't believe I first saw it over twenty years ago.

YesPleaseMary · 16/01/2021 22:00

Currently watching Bone Tomahawk. I hate horror too but this is bearable and actually quite good.

nitgel · 16/01/2021 22:01

Betaal is good but I suppose a horror of sorts. Indian produced, 4 parter really unnerving. Has a bit of everything.

PumpkinPieAlibi · 16/01/2021 22:22

It Follows. Used to be on Netflix but not sure it it's still there

HalfTermHalfTerm · 16/01/2021 22:25

I think Misery is still on Netflix, you could carry on the SK theme?

Might be too late now though!

MahMahMahMahCorona · 16/01/2021 22:26

The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption are also Stephen King - and in my opinion are both absolutely fantastic films he may like.

Cuntitinthebin · 16/01/2021 22:32

I See You

PlanDeRaccordement · 16/01/2021 22:34

Dark is good scary/thriller but not horror

GodOfPhwoar · 16/01/2021 22:34

What about something like Shutter Island? Tense mind bending paranoid thriller but not strictly horror.

frustrationcentral · 16/01/2021 22:39

@Cuntitinthebin

I See You
I second this! Really easy to watch, a bit creepy but not really horror
