Do they text corona virus test results at the weekend/evenings?

Just need to know so I can give up watching my phone, its driving me nuts

Yes they do. Email usually arrives simultaneously, although not always. And in the middle of the night apparently.

Yes I got mine at 10pm last night. I've known people get them at weekends too.

Yes - email results can come through the night but they won't text till after 6am

Yeah I had mine at 9am on a Saturday (Wales).

Yes. My negative result came through at 7pm on a Saturday by text.

Yep, had a positive come through at 6am this morning

Yes-the texts and the emails came hours apart for us though which was strange!

Tbf only had the test yesterday morn so I am being very impatient

My results were texted to me 5.00am Sunday morning

Mine took a bit over 24 hours. Then t and t phoned me today.

Had a test at 12:30 yesterday (Fri) afternoon and got the results this morning (sat) at 7:30am.

Also had a test in September at 3:30pm on a Friday, didn’t get the results till the Sunday at 2:30pm.

DDs result came about 6am albeit on a weekday. I think they'd send them out 24/7 as it's obvs a huge risk that people won't quarantine til they get their result

Yes I get tested every week for work and we've all had results at all sorts of mad times of day/night. I got a positive result at 6am Saturday morning (test was taken on Wednesday and I was asymptomatic, not so asymptomatic now mind you!)

@RadGlags yeah my partner had a test a few months ago and got it through next day. We are waiting on results, he has work tomorrow so can't go and will lose out on much needed income. It is what it is I guess

I got my email at 3am.

I got results today for a test on Thursday. They seem to always take 48 hours here in South west.

I got a test at 9am on Tuesday, I had an email with the result at 11:10pm that evening!
