To want to tell DH his supper's in the dog?

I made creamy smoked salmon and courgette pasta last night. DH asked what supper was tonight and I told him at was salmon curry. He complained that was 'Salmon two night in a row, can't we have something fun?'

Context: he's WFH full time in a stressful job. I'm WFH 4d a week and looking after DD2 who is part time at nursery. Otherwise I have to work around her and was up 2.5hrs before her this morning to get work done. I do all the housework, laundry and cooking from scratch and am having to be 'creative' as we're avoiding supermarkets and struggle to get deliveries. We live rurally, takeaways aren't an option.

AIBU to be a bit pissed off that he's unimpressed with tonight's menu??

Make him chicken nuggets tomorrow if he wants a ‘fun’ tea

Please do, with smiley potato faces, alphabet spaghetti, and a little sprig if parsley.

I would do it in a heartbeat.

He wants a “fun” dinner?
Bung a firework in it, that’ll liven him up.

@sesquipedalia

I went with honey and soy in the end. Lost enthusiasm for cooking a full curry. Don't knock it though, salmon in a coconut / tamarind/ limey sauce is yummy!!
You sucked it up then?
