My Molton Brown shower gel smells like poo and worse.

Aibu to think Jasmin and Sun Rose shower gel from Molton Brown smell like faeces and urine. Sniffed straight from the bottle, not unpleasant but once foamed all over the body it becomes a whole different olfactory experience. I chucked a buff puff away thinking maybe DH had used it to clean his arse again but it is definitely the shower gel . Can’t even bring myself to sniff my fingers now.

I’m as sure as anyone can be that I don’t have Covid. Previous swab tests and lateral flow tests negative.
Have Googled Jasmine smells like poo and it is a thing.

I had COVID in November and sense of smell still not fully returned but can’t honestly say that anything smells of shit that shouldn’t.

Yes - Jasmine smells of cat wee - very strongly. I remember being in Lanzarote with my first boyfriend and he bought me a flower garland. The man placed it round my neck and it put me off my food!! Horrible!

Jasmine smells like sewers to me, Rose smells like pish. (No, I don't have covid, unless I've had it since I was 12)

I think that may be Vivienne Westwood and the perfume was Boudoir. I bought some..

a chemical in Jasime called indole causes it. Apparently if you add real poo to jasmine it cancels out the smell

DH gave me a gift set of the Jasmine & Sun Rose bits for Christmas and I love the smell, definitely doesn't smell like poo to me!

One of the Molton Brown fragrances (I want to say ginger and something?) smelt so alike to a colleague's halitosis I could never use it when presented with a gift set for my birthday. It was uncanny .

Yes, Vivienne Westwood. When the perfume manufacturer 'noses' (specially trained people who can identify and blend perfumes) asked her how she wanted the perfume to smell she said "like freshly washed fanny", which caused a bit of a problem for the noses since they were all gay and didn't know what fanny smelled like.

I had that one in a set of 3 and didn't like it either. It has a kind of plasticine smell to it, which does remind me of poo a bit.

In other news I blew my nose on a new loo roll the other day and it smelt of vomit. Had to Chuck all 4 rolls away. Yuck. Dread to think why.

I love Beanies coffee but their Cherry Bakewell smells like boiled sick.

My BIL did a negative lateral flow the same day as the PCR that came back positive.

Only had a mild case so suspects they’re worse for low viral load.

I wouldn’t trust a lateral flow.

I agree. It smells like Chanel perfume I think Chanel 19 and that one smells like horses manure. Horrible.
