I switched this on. And switched off after less than 30 seconds. Nothing new. Same old. What is the point of these briefings when there's nothing to say. If there's anything new then I'll listen and do my best to comply.

Can't watch when Peter pandemic is leading it.

MH is actually being good.

Like him or loathe him he is on top of his brief, knows what he's talking about and is delivering it clearly.

PurpleDaisies · 11/01/2021 17:33

If you don’t want to watch, that’s your choice.

I think it’s important someone is up there to answer questions from the press.

DrManhattan · 11/01/2021 22:08

MH knows what he's talking about??? What a load of shit. Nah I don't tune in anymore.

changed12344 · 11/01/2021 22:43

It's the questions I can't stand. People deliberately baiting him. Or asking rubbish questions they could find the answers to themselves in thr guidelines. Then those that ask half a dozen questions when it's their go. Then there's Boris. Alas,in this together bingo I had to leave the house last time he was on as he gave me the rage aaaahhhh

Rant over. As you were Blush

I don't agree it's 'nothing new'. The main point of today's briefing was to update on vaccine progress and it sounded incredibly positive. I for one am glad I watched and got to know the figures so far in terms of the vaccine etc...

Obviously some of it is the same old but a lot of it was good info imo (in reference specifically to the vaccine) which I'm glad I listened to.
