Every time I open my cupboard and can’t find anything to wear I get frustrated. Then every single time I look on Pinterest for outfit inspiration I simply come to the conclusion that I just need to lose weight.

Most items are already in my closet I just can’t wear them like the Pinterest girls do 😕 because I’m carrying 10 kgs more than I should right now.

Also I ain’t got no clue how to ‘do’ my hair 😂😂😂

What's your 'AIBU?'

I feel like this all the time! I have bursts of energy where I’ll tell myself I’ll spend a day just shopping for me and finding a staple wardrobe. Then I try on the first thing and am disappointed that I don’t look like the model. I hate shopping and am currently blaming lockdown as an excuse to wear down my Primark basic tees and leggings that have taken me through pregnancy and the past 7 months of motherhood- sick stains an’ all! I begrudge buying sizes that I don’t want to wear 😆

I buy for the size I used to be 😂 and then get upset when I can’t wear it.

A cupboard full of beautiful clothes and I wear jeans and a basic shirt every single day!!!

I’ve just treated myself to some new jeans because I couldn’t find any secondhand ones and had to bite the bullet. I don’t like having a lot in the wardrobe, too much choice makes me skittish but I barely have anything. I don’t really like buying new from a sustainable point which is another excuse I use for not having anything but I just feel frumpy. I do just like wearing simple things, I’m not one for ‘trends’ but I can’t even get that right 🙁

I am exactly the same. I hate my clothes, but I actually just hate how they don't fit nicely. I would probably go out and buy the same again. I am not hugely overweight, but if I could drop 10 lbs, I would have so many more options in my own closet.

I have 2 big bags of lovely clothes that I can't wear until I've lost half a stone to a stone. They've been there about a year. We all know what the answer is! Meanwhile I've bought a few pieces in the right size (mainly from charity shops when they were open) to tide me over until I lose weight . Needed to remind myself again yesterday that that is down to me!

That’s exactly how I feel. I few years ago I lost a big chunk of weight and felt great in most of my clothes but there was still a reluctance to really treat myself to things that made me feel that way. I kind of stumbled through pregnancy in stretchy stuff or eBay finds so just need to lose the baby weight I guess. It’s sad to realise that I’ve felt this way about my clothes and body since I about 5! 😢
