The Cut, a subsidiary of New York magazine, has published this article castigating Karlie Kloss for not doing enough to “keep the Trump family in line”.

For the unaware, Karlie Kloss is a hugely successful model who has in her spare time done a lot of good- she set up a charity that runs coding summer camps for teenage girls and provides scholarships for young women studying STEM subjects. She’s been a vocal supporter of Biden/Harris and has also spoken against Trump.

She’s also married to Jared Kushner’s little brother Joshua. Barely a mention of him though.

Apparently, all her philanthropy and feminism is worth nothing because she hasn’t slagged off her in-laws publicly and loudly enough. Oh, and she and her husband recently bought a nice house.

I know there are far bigger things to get pissed off about but this has really made me angry. She’s a model for fuck’s sake, not a political... anything! Once again it’s a woman being blamed for the actions of men.

Fucking sick of it.

Same thing happened to Jodie Comer. Her boyfriend was a republican.

Holy fuck what the hell?

I thought it was a joke at the beginning about how women are the root of all evil but no, it's so serious Confused

Yep, load of balls. Maybe her husband really likes his brother and she doesn't want to pull the family apart and force him to take sides. Sounds to me like she's doing the perfect job of airing her views whilst not driving a pointless wedge between her husband and his brother (cos the Trumptons aren't going to listen to anyone so it's a waste of breath) .

The bit about the house sounds really spiteful. Like she must be a dreadful insincere person if she can bear to live anywhere near her inlaws or something and if she was decent she ought to hate them with undying passion, divorce her husband and live in a shack on the moon to prove it.

Yup, I'm with you there.

Hold people accountable for their actions (and hold people accountable for being an accessory to those actions if necessary) but not in the context of political ideology.

Is the context that in order to be a Republican you must be racist / sexist / homophobic / otherwise shitty?
