AIBU to think I'm the worst possible age re. vaccines?

I'm 49 with no underlying health issues, so not even on the radar for a vaccine yet.
But am I really that much safer from serious illness than a 50 year old who at least will be on the list for getting a vaccine?

I'm keeping myself as safe as I can and appreciate a line has to be drawn somewhere but I do feel a bit put out that I'm so close to the line! Will they contact me on my 50th birthday do you think?

By the time they get far enough down the list you will probably be 50(!)

I agree with this.

By the time they get to you they will be more likely to have discovered any side-effects that the vaccine causes. And also have a good idea whether the effectiveness is closer to 60% or 90%.
