AIBU to say that shag pile rugs are shit

Bought a large shag pile rug to cover the horrible laminate flooring. Took my son and his mate a long time to lift my sofas and lay the it. No matter how long I hoover the thing for there are always bits left deep in the pile .... I can’t move it as it’s too heavy .... should I just bin the bloody thing?

We have one and the same. I can hoover it for 20mins solid, take it out and beat the crap out of it, Hoover again, and there’s still bits in it.

Will ceremonially burn it when I can afford a replacement.

We have one too and the only thing stopping me from burning it is that it was bloody expensive. Instead we chunter about how much we hate it on a daily basis.
