Oh I forgot: people who describe themselves as “crazy”! “I’m crazy me! Tee hee”. “I’d do that because I’m just SOOO crazy!”

I like to respond: “oh wow- so lovely to meet someone else who also has a diagnosis of schizophrenia, fancy a coffee later?” Suddenly they become very subdued...

alltoomuchrightnow · 03/01/2021 19:38

Dogs in general . They are ok , great companions I know but how can you enjoy a walk when you have to scoop up poo? Do you end up genuinely loving your pet so much you never mind walking along with a bag of steaming poo?
I have a cat but don't have to deal with litter..he refuses a tray and only goes outside for his business (oh, and we go on long walks together...so I've never found the need for a dog..no training involved either, and no leashes)

Misshapencha0s · 03/01/2021 19:40

Oh and people who have their bright overhead lights on with curtains/blinds open so anyone passing by can see them with feet up watching TV all night, every night.

My husband is on the spectrum, it takes him two days to recover if I have friends round (no joke) I think the psychologist called it a social hangover.

woodhill · 03/01/2021 19:43

Toilet freshener disc things...just weird. Or the things you put in the cistern that make the water bloo.....weird.
Toilet brushes...highly contentious I know.
Family photos blown up to epic proportions with everyone lying down leaning on their elbows, bare feet in the air and white background.
Photos on wall of graduation. Look at me I'm clever!
Autographs of celebs...what's the point?
People who are obsessed with the weather forecast especially when they are always telling you what the weather is like at the holiday home abroad that they aren't even at.

Sorry but this is very cathartic!

tisonlymeagain · 03/01/2021 19:46

People who love coffee and are obsessive about Starbuck pumpkin spice/red cups or other nonsense.

Getting up early without a brilliant reason. I'm 42 and I still do not understand how people can willingly get up for the day in the dark, when they don't have to. Why? I never get up before 9.30 at the very earliest, but more like 10.30-11.30, and I manage to get everything I need done!
