On the issue of fillers: Maybe don't be so hasty! Those who say they don't relate to fillers, I think maybe you are either young or don't have the severe black circles (for me genetic) under your eyes which make you look always exhausted even when you are absolutely not! Not all of us are that lucky.

I also always said I didn't "get" cosmetic procedures, why would I have them, but in my mid-50s I started getting totally fed up of people at work saying, when I thought I looked perfectly fine, "oh my God, you look so tired" and "are you OK, you look exhausted" (yes, very rude, I know, why would people do that?).

Anyway, I got tear trough fillers from a very reputable/high-end clinic, and it was absolutely fantastic, no-one ever said I looked tired again! (I don't care about looking pretty or not, that ship may have sailed! But I don't like people thinking I am always knackered or perhaps depressed or ill. It isn't a good look for my line of work either).

(In lockdown I have not been able to have them done, but for the moment it doesn't matter as I see absolutely no-one IRL, my work is now completely online, and Zoom "appearance smoothing" or whatever it is called (plus good lighting) is your friend!)

What I can't relate to is TV shows about baking. Why watch someone making a lovely cake if you can't eat it? It would drive me mad!

I love food shows, and I’m an almost vegan so I can’t even make any of it myself at home.
