Did an online consultation thingy with Lloyds pharmacy to order the contraceptive patch, because it's basically impossible to see a GP ATM where I live. I have taken the pill in the past, I'm under 40, healthy weight, no existing medical conditions, non smoker, no high blood pressure etc etc. All of this info and more went on the form I had to fill in. I ordered the patch and paid yesterday.
Get an email today from them saying their pharmacist wants to ask me some questions and to log on to my patient account to see their message. Pharmacist has sent me a message saying it would be safer for me to continue with my current pill and to respond letting them know how I wish to proceed. I'm
because I stated in the form that I wasn't currently using any form of contraception and wasn't taking the pill.
I replied explaining this. I then get another email saying that because I've recently used emergency contraception, they want to ask me more questions and I need to be aware that I might be pregnant. But... Guess what...? I haven't recently used emergency contraception. I ticked no to the question about it on the online consultation form.
WTF is this about? The messages seem to be coming from either a bot, or someone whose English is not great. Can't tell which. I just want the bloody patch! Obviously I wouldn't quibble over being asked for extra info, I understand why that might be necessary. But it's like they haven't read the online consultation at all and are telling me I'm on the pill when I'm not
