The usual resolutions Grin

OP posts:
Becsim · 30/12/2020 21:03

Try not to get stressed as easily. 😅

1Morewineplease · 30/12/2020 21:06

To just try not to get het up about stupid managerial decisions.
To tell nicotine to eff off and to say goodbye to wine.

Kljnmw3459 · 30/12/2020 21:08

I am going to use 2021 to grow my savings pot and investment pot. Not that I have much to begin with so it would be nice to end next year in a better financial position.

SnowyWiseOwlWan · 30/12/2020 21:10

To detox any residual core shame so that i can leave behind the role of scapegoat finally.

🤞😜😳

But really. That's it.

DollyMixtureLulus · 30/12/2020 21:10

I am going to

  • make a list of all the books I read
  • only buy clothes that I need and will keep for years
  • when this is finished, go on one date a month
WorraLiberty · 30/12/2020 21:11

Mine is to eat too much junk, drink too much alcohol and spend too much time dicking around on the internet.

I like my targets to be realistic 😂😂

SingingSands · 30/12/2020 21:13

Actually stick to an exercise routine

Run more miles

Save more, spend less

The biggie - not to buy any new clothes in 2021!

mbosnz · 30/12/2020 21:13

Survive it. Grin

ScrapThatThen · 30/12/2020 21:15

To stop buying cheap crap produced more than likely by modern slavery in all its forms but particularly through China's persecution of the Uighur Muslims.

AlrightTreacle · 01/01/2021 00:49

Give up mumsnet Grin

Taikoo · 01/01/2021 00:54

Lose a stone.

Laufeythejust · 01/01/2021 00:55

To keep off the weight I lost in 2020. I’m very all or nothing so it’s going to be tough finding my middle ground.

1FootInTheRave · 01/01/2021 00:55

Be a slightly better person.

Heartofstrings · 01/01/2021 00:55

To get dressed every day

SpinningBob · 01/01/2021 01:09

I have a biggie this year-so clichéd it hurts though, I’ve just had my 3rd baby, and want to get back to my healthiest weight, which means losing 35kg. I never thought I’d be in this position but am facing it head on, and no hopefully about it, got my dress for next Christmas hanging in the wardrobe waiting! Also the older 2 girls want to learn to knit so we will be doing that too.

SpinningBob · 01/01/2021 19:32

Sorry for killing your thread opBlush

Misscupcake71 · 01/01/2021 19:42

To continue my daily workouts, which began as pe with Joe back in March.( which my dd11 participated in 2 whole times!!)
To be kind to myself.

17thEarlOfOxford · 01/01/2021 19:44

Run three times a week (at least).

Sstarlight · 01/01/2021 19:47

I'm quitting wine for at least 6 months.

And planning to lose a stone.

Lockdown has made me fat and too often drinking too much.

Poptart4 · 01/01/2021 19:57

I want to lose a stone.

No more alcohol during the week. ONLY drinking on a Saturday and Sunday.

Actually using the exercise bike I bought 2 years ago Grin I've even bought some bicycle shorts lol

SpinningBob · 01/01/2021 20:49

Oh bicycle shorts would be a great motivator -every time I caught a glimpse of myself I would be horrified!

MostlyAmbridgeandcoffee · 01/01/2021 20:55

Less booze, reconnect with my toddler after new baby arrival, more exercise, lose around 2.5 stone and stop being a blob

notinthiseconomy · 01/01/2021 21:02

No-spend January

Not to buy a single book until I've cleared my backlog of books.

Calmandmeasured1 · 01/01/2021 21:03
  1. To be the best person I can be.
  2. Lose weight.
  3. Increase my fitness level.
  4. Buy less but better quality clothing.
  5. Scan everything in my office and then destroy the originals.
  6. Scan all my old photos (1000s of them).
  7. Be more productive - stop prevaricating and JFDI.
doodlejump1980 · 01/01/2021 21:08

Mine are the usual cliches...
Lose weight - need to lose 2st 8lbs to be in a healthy bmi and get to goal weight.
Save more money. Managed to save some as not commuting during lockdown.
I started scrapbooking during lockdown so would like to continue that.
