Aibu to ask for your ideas?

I'm talking newest one is use by 2009. Four in total. What would you do with them?

My friend gave me them to feed to my dog.

I do not want to feed them to my dog.
Is ashens still going?
Will they be okay to put out for birds/hedgehogs?

I assume it's best before date which passed, not use by (I don't think I've ever seen that on a tin) so they are safe to use. Just may not be the best texture

What condition do the cans look to be in?

I'd bin tbh, you dont know how they've been stored. If we had no money and dog was starving then I'd consider it but I wouldn't unless I really had to.

What's in them? I once ate a tin of tomatoes that was 17 years past its use-by date and all was good.

If you wouldn't feed your dog with them you shouldn't feed the wildlife either.

If they're not blown, they'll be fine.

They're meat. Chicken stew. Hot pot.. cant remember others but all meat and I dont eat meat.
