Suicidal friend

I need help so bad. My friend’s deeply suicidal and is taking about his death, he’s in touch with mental health services but doesn’t want to live on anymore and nothing we are saying is getting through to his head. I’m having heart palpations. I’m just so scared of losing him forever, idk how to deal with my emotions. Everyone I get attached to ends up leaving 😔

@Hurting888 how are you and how is your friend?

Whats his reason for not wanting meds, when its a choice between that and feeling like dying?
If you really feel like hes a danger to himself, then he needs crisis team and possible hospitalisation

@WhatsTheTea He’s doing a lot better thank you for asking. Agreed to go on meds and has sleeping pills, they’ll be monitoring him very closely and multiple times a week! I’m a lot happier as a result, he’s managed to look forward to the help he’ll be receiving
