Am i pregnant or is this another chemical?

Hi all,
this is my 1st time writing on her but i’m just so confused.
so have infertility issues and have tried for years to get pregnant naturally with no success (2 chemical pregnancies) but i have had a child via ivf with 2 other failed attempts. This month i missed my period so took my usual hopeful tests and they showed up positive, one being a boots digital. I took another this morning to confirm it but it came back negative. i had one spare clear blue digital so did this again this afternoon and this was positive? i’m so confused!! could this be another chemical? thanks for any help xx

they don’t do a blood test at my drs they just tell me to wait and test again in a week- which isn’t ideal x

The one that was not positive was it a digital test ( just wondering if it wasn't digital could you have not seen the potentially weak line)? Tests are usually reliable ( and state accuracy) and testing first thing in the morning is usually the recommended time.

yes it was a digital. i also used a Frer with the same sample of urine and it looked a little weaker than the day before but then with the clear blue digital being positive later in the day it’s just so confusing? i’m hopeful but also realistic x

I would wait a few days and test again. Unfortunately a positive pregnancy test is reliant on hormones ( esp HCG) and these can be raised without a viable pregnancy . Fingers crossed 🤞 for good outcome.
