My 18 yo DD is keen to try.... I'm happy to support but would love to know more.

What are your experiences?

And advice on where to get it - what sort of dose and how best to take it?

I use CBD for chronic pain. Have a look at this site, lots of info and testimonials. It’s also on sale in my local Boots and Tesco. Hope it helps.

I use Blessed CBD oil, when I am very stressed and anxious. I think it helps keeps me calm and it does help reduce my physical symptoms. It comes with instructions/information booklet on how much to take etc. and can be bought directly from the website. I would say it is definitely worth trying your DD trying, whatever brand you choose.

It does not taste very nice, but I have found taking it just after I brush my teeth helps enormously. I would say it is

I use these CBD gummies, as the oil makes me feel quite sick. They come in two different strengths. I generally take the 5mg ones, once or twice a day depending on how I feel. Https:www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/starpowa-cbd-5mg-apple-flavoured-gummies-60043789?skuid=043789

Nothing against medication for anxiety, but your daughter really needs to address the thinking behind it too, otherwise it may continue to get worse.

CBT is the standard therapy. Has your daughter tried this? If not, may be a wait on on NHS but worth asking, or you can get it privately.

It would also be worth talking to your GP first, rather than self medicate, as these things can spiral, especially at this age.

Yes agree re thinking ... she has tried... very challenging... CBT definitely doesn't work for her and sadly other things we have tried have only helped temporarily.

So this is alongside rather than replacing other stuff.

I've used it with some success

Stay away from H&B etc as the strength is far too weak
