I can't stand him. He may be Italian but his pretending to misunderstand things and pronounce things to appear rude is tiresome. I switch off if he appears on the tv.

I don’t watch the morning show with him on it but his stupid mispronunciations get my goat just to get a hysterical laugh from those two. Paul Young was heartbroken when his wife died and her things had been stolen.

I used to like him when he was mainly serious with a bit of a funny side, but he's acting really stupid on everything lately. He's awful on FF and really cringey on Gordon, Gino and Fred ... especially with the cold swimming lady, really grim behaviour.

And his accent sounds really fake. Apologies to him if it's real (sure he's reading ) but blimey. He's been here for years. He's exaggerating it I'm sure but it's really hard on the ears.

I like FF, but agree about Gino - he's not sharp enough to come back with witty responses to some of the idiotic answers the contestants give, and he doesn't 'get' some of the answers because of not knowing common English slang, which makes it all fall flat. Les and Vernon were a bit cheesy, but they could do quick retorts and laugh at the ridiculous answers that Gino just doesn't get.

I have no strong feelings about him as a presenter, but there’s not much point in the prison system if you are barred from making a success of your life afterwards. It’s not like there are any safeguarding issues to consider here.

Some game shows belong to the last century. This is one of them.

I couldn’t disagree more. I find him absolutely hilarious on FF. I have never seen him on anything else, but I love him on it. He doesn’t take himself that seriously, and I think his comebacks to the contestants are really spot on usually. He also seems to care about whether they win or not. He is a much better host than I imagined he would be.

I think all the comments regarding his criminal past are due to a previous poster stating they’d rather have him than Vernon after his ‘sexting’ scandal. I’m assuming that poster was unaware he was a convicted criminal.
