DH claims that Christmas isn’t Christmas without these little balls of wafer covered dried sick.

We got them from Tesco but about a month ago-they were on special. Not much help-sorry.

TheYearOfSmallThings · 23/12/2020 08:32

Are cheese balls the same thing? Iceland has those (Cheetos cheese balls).

I didn't buy any but they did look like they would taste of dried sick.

jillypill · 23/12/2020 08:32

The crisps?

jillypill · 23/12/2020 08:33

I usually see them in the corner shops

BarbaraofSeville · 23/12/2020 08:35

Are they in short supply? I thought you'd be able to get them in any supermarket? Have you tried M&S? They have a surprisingly good selection of crappy savoury snacks, given how much they ponce up the rest of their food.

kitnkaboodle · 23/12/2020 08:41

Have you tried Aldi/Lidl? They're 'foreign' aren't they? Also known as Gouda footballs. I love them and we buy loads of them if we go to France. Funny how there are certain foods we have to have at Christmas and get obsessed with finding. Marzipan fruits for us - which we never eat but which look lovely on the sideboard!

DelphineWalsh · 23/12/2020 08:45

They're not foreign. They are a KP brand. I've also been looking and haven't been able to find any

EddieBananas · 23/12/2020 08:50

I haven't seen them this year at all! (South East)

Jbh333 · 23/12/2020 09:09

My mum has been on and on about not being able to get these. Nearly every time I ring her she says “you seen them anywhere”..... but no luck and we live in south London! And they do taste sicky 🤣

MrsSchadenfreude · 23/12/2020 10:06

We’ve tried Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, Iceland and every corner shop within spitting distance.

They are disgusting.

Embrace the Twiglet instead. Basically they are Marmite on toast in a tub. Yum!

jillypill · 23/12/2020 10:13

They are on Amazon & ebay but won't arrive on time

zaphodbeeble · 23/12/2020 10:13

They are my favourite and I can’t find them anywhere
