I've woken up with no taste or smell. I can't taste anything at all. Yes, I know what this means. Is it bad that my first thought was about the sourdough, Camembert and chilli jam Sad

Oh no 😔 I hope it comes back quickly! Mine took almost 4 weeks, but it seems to vary so much from person to person.
I found that I could "taste" very spicy or salty things. Not the best, but it's a change from nothing at all.

Sorry to hear but it may come back sooner than you think .

Oh no OP, hope it comes back quickly.

My loss of smell lasted about 5 or 6 days all told, and I was craving roast potatoes covered in gravy for all of it!

I found this site abscent.org/learn-us/smell-training and ordered the oils it recommends (rose, lemon, eucalyptus and clove). Might be worth trying to see if it speeds up the return for you!

Thanks, @blackeyedsusan! I had a little moan and a sulk and now am planning some non alcoholic recipes so I don't have to miss out!
