Quooker tap - for tea addict?

I'm posting this on AIBU so I can get the voting enabled Grin

So... I'm a serious (and fussy) tea addict - would I be disappointed by a quooker instead of a kettle for boiling water for tea?

Yes = I would be disappointed
No = I wouldn't notice the difference

I'm reading this and very sad to see that the Quooker isn't cutting it! Was so keen to get one.

Well I love tea and I love our boiling tap, we have a Hotspot Titanium, it needs to be a boiling tap and not just hot tap, no going back for me.

We have a kind of electric urn type thing and I love it. It cost a fraction of the price of a Qooker. I use it for cooking as well as making hot drinks.

Is it worth it anyway? For other things like having hot water on had to get your saucepan going?

tobee · 22/12/2020 18:45

Plus a kettle of course

My husband is tea obsessed and I got him one for his birthday in August. He said it was his best present ever. We love it, makes a great cuppa and no waiting ( which is perfect when working from home with back to back zoom meetings!)
Ours isn't quooker, just a generic instant hot water tap.
