Quooker tap - for tea addict?

I'm posting this on AIBU so I can get the voting enabled Grin

So... I'm a serious (and fussy) tea addict - would I be disappointed by a quooker instead of a kettle for boiling water for tea?

Yes = I would be disappointed
No = I wouldn't notice the difference

Well I love tea and I love our boiling tap, we have a Hotspot Titanium, it needs to be a boiling tap and not just hot tap, no going back for me.

We have a kind of electric urn type thing and I love it. It cost a fraction of the price of a Qooker. I use it for cooking as well as making hot drinks.

Is it worth it anyway? For other things like having hot water on had to get your saucepan going?

My husband is tea obsessed and I got him one for his birthday in August. He said it was his best present ever. We love it, makes a great cuppa and no waiting ( which is perfect when working from home with back to back zoom meetings!)
Ours isn't quooker, just a generic instant hot water tap.
