One of the reasons I fell so hard for DH is because he was so involved with his nieces and clearly adored them.

The reason why there’s such a small age gap between DS1 and DS2 was because DH was carrying DS1 around whilst he had no shirt on and was wearing very skinny black jeans. My ovaries practically exploded 😂

Before my partner moved in when he came round he would make a point of spending the first half an hour or so playing with my son. Now he lives here as soon as he gets home from work he washes his hands and their 30 minute play time starts. He is brilliant at reading his body language etc as well.

He has a little brother (as in small child little), who would normally spend most of his school holidays in the UK with my partner. He has missed that so much this year.

I can’t wait for him to become a Dad, he’ll be amazing.

I wish I could pretend that was the case (well, I could, but ...) Although at least I'm nowhere near as old as he would be now! No, he's not my type either; I'm afraid rugged doesn't really do it for me, and a Welsh accent in a growl doesn't either ... My mum found Sean Connery irresistible too (I know he's a Scot not a Welshman) but that type just doesn't appeal at all. Jeremy Irons would be nearer to it.

Just to add, Scottishness is definitely not a problem (as mentioned before, it's a plus); it's the ruggedness that's the minus with Sean Connery.

I came home from work today to find my partner of 7 &1/2 years washing up and cleaning the kitchen for the first time EVER!
