To ask M&S to stop sending me “Percy Pig” promotions

So, checked out my sparks card promotions today. As usual, there is only one. It is a bag of “Percy pig“ sweets. This has been a Sparks promotion I have received every month for the last year or two. Once I got a nice candle for free, but that’s it.

Maybe it’s good if you’re five years old. But as a sixty year-old woman I’m sick to death of getting Percy the pig promotions. Should I complain to M&S about this continued pathetic and unhealthy promotion? I am not sure if this is lighthearted, I know it should be because it’s Christmas! But Percy pig sweets, every week/month pls giveusabreak (plus I bet there’s all kind of dodgy ingredients). AIBU?

You can have mine! I’ve been offered it 20 times this year. Maybe they stop it if you actually accept them? I have a sweet tooth, but that said, wouldn’t touch the plasticky-pink with a barge pole! It’s like when you go into W H Smith to buy a newspaper and they ask you if you if you fancy a doorstopper bar of cheap Cadbury’s shit!

My eldest teen doesn't complain.

Reminds me I have a free packet of chocolate biscuits that I hid for christmas. I didn't even pick up the candle.

Ahhhh Hippie maybe you have a point. That said, the offer disappears, and then reappears again ad infjnitum. I think the best thing maybe is to accept their continuous offers and Chuck em! You WILL have percynpig!

And the marketing, they act like they are doing the world a massive favour every time they release more porcine tat. A Percy tea towel you say? How did I love a fulfilling life before you thought of that, M&S?

I think they’re really ramping up the Percy brand. They’ve released so much for it lately, they even have staff dressed up as Percy doing skits on their social media accounts.

I can only assume they're shitting themselves now you can get a far cheaper version of Percy in Aldi. Plus I suspect the marketers are on the same type of psychedelics as the Per Una designers.

I mean I luuuved the heartbreakingly wondrous “In The Night Garden”, Charlie and Lola ( a bit - though so middle class I was left feeling a bit envious tbh), the ones that cuddled all the time, Bob the Builder at a push, and all those crazy trains, and so on. But what’s with the bland-ugly pig sweets?
