She's just announced she would love an epilator for Christmas - seems like a great idea but how do I chose?

Which one do you rate? And what do you like about it?

Any other advice gratefully received. Thanks!

I have a Silk Epil 5 Wet and Dry and quite like it. My mum who bought an epilator at the same time regrets not getting a cordless one because she’s trapped in the bedroom to do it and it doesn’t have the best light. Other than getting something with a decent number of tweezers, I think all the different heads and attachments are a bit gimmicky. I don’t even use mine in the shower because it’s more effective to use dry but it was helpful to get used to the pain of doing my underarms.

I have a Panasonic. I echo what the previous poster said about getting a cordless model. Mine's also got a light which is super useful for seeing the hairs.

Another vote for silk epil, I’ve never used it in the shower but definitely recommend cordless just for ease of use

I’ve never tried it on my underarms, took me at least 2 years to get over the pain of doing my legs Blush
