How have you survived it ?

It's been a tough year for everyone. But especially strange for first time mothers. I can't imagine how it would have been different as I don't have anything else to compare it to. But it's been very tough and continues to be. Any tips to get through January ?

It’s been very tough in that I had very different expectations of things I could do, things I took for granted I suppose! There have been good points too, I had a difficult birth but the bonding time I have had has been great and I don’t think I would have had this time if things were normal! It can be a bit lonely and I didn’t really get the chance to make new mum friends as even in pregnancy everything was online!im actually pregnant again so will be somewhat similar this time around although I’m hoping things will be better after I go on maternity this time as it’s not till summer!

I'm not quite the people you're looking for as I was fortunate in that DS was born in Nov 2019 but I'm only having one child and there were things I was looking forward to doing with DS while we were off that just weren't possible. I also found it very difficult to get decent treatment for PND during it all.
