@Facelikearustytractor, we already have medical devices that are implanted in humans that helps them function or survive. For example, pacemakers, cochlea implants and certain brain shunts. Dsis got a brain shunt and she says she feels like a part robot as she can hear it when she changes her body position. Which sounds really weird, at least she is no longer in pain.

Medical technology science can do so much right now. I’m very nervous but hopefully looking forward to automated insulin delivery device, so I could outsource part of my pancreas job to a machine.
