AIBU or should the song “Boris Johnson is a f c*” be banned from Amazon Music/iTunes/the charts/Christmas number one?

Whatever your political views might be, surely this shouldn’t be allowed?

Of course it should be allowed. One because we live in a (sort of) democracy with freedom of speech (ish) and two, because he is.

I'd like one of the charity records to be Christmas number one, btw.

Never knew this existed but it’s pathetic and childish (and I say that as someone living in Kent, having to go to an office because I cannot WFH and am surrounded by gridlocked roads due to Operation Stack). I’m no Boris fan.

Yes it's pathetic and childish. That's not exactly grounds for a ban though.

It's not trying to be clever and satirical; that's part of the joke. It's from the "you're not worth that level of effort and I'm going to show my contempt by lowering the tone all around you and not even trying to be clever for you" school of attack.

Whilst I do find it completely inappropriate, I do not want to live in a country who censor what we are allowed to sing or laugh at.

He really is. I went to a concert with a terminally ill friend who loved his songs and he was so good to us. The song was just a joke but its so true
