There is nothing legally Pence can do - he is the equivalent of A.N.Other celeb opening the golden envelope on Oscars night - read the card and no say on what's on it.
Personally he could make some sort of "stand" and say he doesn't agree with the results. He doesn't have to open the envelope - he can "abstain" and then it would be Chuck Grassley who would confirm results. (Grassley had covid a while ago - guess he got better)

I think after today the heat will go out of Trump and even on Parler they know it is over. Plus there are more voices on there now willing to challenge the MAGA idealogy which is getting through.

Trump has to take a lot of the blame for this. I suspect quite a few Republican voters didn't see the point in voting if there's widespread fraud. Other more moderate Republicans possibly switched to the Democrats.

Have everything crossed for Georgia. When I checked results in the middle of the night (insomnia)it was not so good as this morning so nice to wake up to!

Perdue is already calling in to question the accuracy of the counting. Here we go again. It is very close but that's it. Still some military and absentee ballots to be counted.

Wouldn't it be great to hear Mitch McConnell Senate Minority Leader.....

The protesters in D.C. today are not going to be happy. There's a video on Twitter of Mitt Romney being accosted by Trump supporters at the airport on his way to DC. He's stuck on a plane full of Trumpites on their way to protest.

It seems like Warnock has more or less been called. What a journey for this man.

1. Black turnout looks, frankly, phenomenal
2. Perdue/Loeffler are approaching Trump %s of the vote in a lot of deep red rural counties, but turnout there isn't anything special.
3. It's getting harder to see a path for either R, but esp. Loeffler.

Both Dems should openly thank Trump for "doing what he knew was best" on Twitter. Use that same veiled coded language against him this time.

On the assumption both seats go to Dems, this is also a clear signal to the world that extremism and Trumps "brand" of politics aren't always going to win.

I hope the Dems put their hearts and souls into reversing what they can of the past 4 years too. No more Mr. Nice Guy ....
