Like fixing the fecking app rather than sending out ridiculous personalised videos.
Obviously it really enriched my life and astounded me that my top three products were milk, hovis seeded sensation bread and cucumbers, but having the app switched back on, after eight months might be a tad more beneficial.
Rant over...

YABVU. You know they have different people in different departments doing different jobs, right?

So the fact that they have some working on a video doesn’t affect the ones who work on the app.

I agree OP. Couldn't get a Christmas slot of any use so thanks for nothing Ocado.
Was secretly relieved though to find my top buys were milk and apples, not wine, which I seriously thought might have been the case since March.Grin

It was very strange. Mine had two types of cheddar, one of which I only had once as a substitute.

It's been so long now without the app, I just get the 'We are working on it message'. I place large orders every fortnight as I shop for us and inlaws so could really do with it. Having to edit the entire order to add one item is such a pain. I'm sure someone will be along soon to say the app works for them Envy

However, the service is pretty good - even though I miss Waitrose - and I'm always grateful for my deliveries which rarely have missing items or subs. The delivery people are cheerful and professional (just PLEASE sort out the app)

My app works fine and I have had regular deliveries through most of the year. Sorry your experience has been so bad.

Trust me, you are one of the lucky ones! No app for me. £8.99 a month for smart pass (which I’ve had since it was introduced) no deliveries at all for nearly two months, currently only one every seven days, I have my £9.99 Christmas slot on Sunday (not that there is much Christmas stuff on it as I didn’t get offered a slot until late and there is very little available). Then after Sunday I have NO BOOKABLE SLOTS. I can see as far as 7th Jan but with no slots available. I also shop for a vulnerable neighbour so no slots for the best part of three weeks is quite an issue....

I have been very happy with Ocado, with deliveries every week and a good Christmas slot. And the introduction of the Zoom app.
But I live in Central London, so I think they are very active here. Do you live in a less dense area?

Didyousaynutella · 18/12/2020 10:46

Apparently I am the biggest buyer in Lancashire of linguine. Which I will probably be having on Christmas Day as I haven’t been able to get a slot after the 14th December despite paying £6.99 a month and having a weekly slot for the last two years.

LagneyandCasey · 18/12/2020 11:11

They do mess around regular customers. Obviously Lockdown was very difficult and I was understanding about that and took whatever deliveries I could get.

However they always mess us around at Xmas. A have a smart pass and regular delivery slot on Wednesdays (for 10+ years) which was cancelled for next week as the slots were opened up as a free for all. I missed the email and couldn't get a slot. It's stupid that they didn't offer regular delivery customers the chance to keep their usual slot and they pay an extra delivery fee.

Anyway, Tesco have sent me some vouchers so they'll be getting my custom this Christmas.

I’m in South East London.... within a few miles of their Erith depot...
