Am I right in thinking that pregnant employees are not entitled to time off paid for dental appointments ?
I may be wrong though
Any advice ?

No it’s only antenatal appointments. You do get free dentistry whilst pregnancy but employers do not have give paid time off for this. They do have to grant paid leave for things like scans, consultant appointments directly relating to the babyb

I wonder whether this would change if the need for dental treatment was pregnancy related? I know a girl who’s teeth started crumbling when she was pregnant with twins which was pregnancy related.

@tierneytarny no it doesn’t. But that’s why you get free dental Care as pregnancy can affect teeth
