The chair gives cryptic clues for teams who race to produce an everyday object. eg "Bring me a set of teeth" would mean a comb.

I want to do a Zoom version of this, but I can't recall the name or find suggestions for the clues.

Scavenger hunt?

pelagra · 16/12/2020 11:51

Almost, but that seems to involve running round the house to get to the next clue.

No-one?
I recall playing this at parties in church halls with my grandparents. Everyone would empty their pockets and handbags so as to have the objects ready.

Never heard of it, but I like the sound of it lol!

I think it's a scavenger hunt where you have to collect items. Looking for clues is a treasure hunt.

We used to do pub crawl scavenger hunts back in my youth 😂

While I was searching I came upon youthgroupgames.com.au/ which has lots of game ideas and might be handy if you are doing a different sort of Christmas this year.

Is it Riddle Me This?

SoupDragon · 16/12/2020 17:43

Whilst googling I came across an app called "goose chase" where you can create custom scavenger hunts. It appears to be free for recreational use.

I do think the game you remember had a "proper" name rather than just scavenger hunt though.
