If money were no object

If money and any other constraints weren't an issue, what would you do?

I was thinking before how I'd love to just have someone who played with my hair 😂😂 like a daily massage I guess, but a head and hair massage. I just love it but DH will only rarely do it Sad

I would have surgery/whatever medical treatment money could buy to fix a long term issue.

Then a nice house (but not necessarily huge), heated pumped swimming pool, a few more children, a workshop and craft room, more dogs, and a house sitter to look after it all so I could go on holidays to exciting places.

naturalyoghurtmuncher · 15/12/2020 16:46

Somebody to clean my house everyday( empty the dishwasher- I hate doing that) 😂

Regular trips to the hairdresser

And a personal trainer to whip my big fat ar$e into gear 😂

I actually know someone who has a personal chef. Not for every meal but a few days a week. Jealous, moi? Envy

efes · 15/12/2020 16:50

I would have a new oven and somebody to cook and wash up.

formerbabe · 15/12/2020 16:53

24/7 nanny...I'd still want to do majority of the childcare but I'd love to be able to do what I want when I want and put my feet up when knackered.

I'd also like a huge tv built into the bathroom wall.

I'd also like my hair professionally blow dried rather than doing it myself.

30shousecat · 15/12/2020 16:53

For me, I would like someone to help me get organised! I am a slight weirdo in that I don't mind actually cleaning but having to tidy before I clean because there is stuff bloody everywhere kills me.

Oooooooh and I would buy all of the beautiful material and patterns my heart desired.

veeeeh · 15/12/2020 16:59

I would pay for a decontaminated zone somewhere to see my family and loved ones again, especially the little kids. All together within the rules of course. That's not too much to ask is it?

Otherwise, money means paying bills and living. We don't need millions, we need hugs and love, I know it sounds ridiculous, but I would pay for contact now. Like many others I suspect.

Longdistance · 15/12/2020 17:00

I’d have a hairdresser come every day to sort the shit that I call my hair. It doesn’t matter what I do to it, it’s shit.
I come out of the salon, it’s lovely and bouncy and fresh, after that, meh.
Tbh, I could do with a housekeeper too.

derxa · 15/12/2020 17:02

Renovate my farmhouse, build new sheep sheds and plant lots of trees and hedges

Bluepolkadots42 · 15/12/2020 17:02

I'd have 6 holidays a year, a personal chef, a cleaner twice a week, a laptop and a new car for DH. Just a few essentials really ;)

Bluepolkadots42 · 15/12/2020 17:03

Oh forgot one last thing- a PT that comes to my house 3 times a week.

SpaceOp · 15/12/2020 17:05

I spend a lot of time thinking about how I'd get the balance between never having to do housework again and having people in my house all the time! I don't mind day to day quick tidying up, dinner etc. So I have come to the conclusion I'd pay for two cleaners to come twice a week for two hours. So basically the equivalent of 8 hours cleaning a week. Or, if my new, money-is-no-object house is too big for that to be enough, then three cleaners or whatever. Basically, I'd want them in, blitzing, then leaving again so that I can enjoy peaceful, clean house.

90% of my clothes would be cashmere or silk.

I would absolutely take advantage of all the restaurants doing the fancy at-home stuff (vs the standard takeaway). They look fabulous and fun but it's all the high end places and the cost is excessive. If I suggested it now Dh would probably keel over.

PattyPan · 15/12/2020 17:07

Run an organic farm and nature reserve part time around constantly doing continuing education courses. I’d also have a PA who would remember everything for me and do my boring admin. I would probably dress very differently as well!

I also love having my hair played with and back scratched but I wouldn’t want a stranger to do it! I’ll keep making DP do it Grin

NoMeatIsHumane · 15/12/2020 17:14

I watched a documentary about the Hilton family. In their sprawling Beverley hills mansion they had a Wrapping Room upstairs with an island in the middle and lots of beautiful rolls of wrapping paper on the walls that you pull out and cut as much as you needed. When I was younger it seemed pointless but my older self would love one.

EileenGC · 15/12/2020 17:19

@GlowingOrb

I’d have a personal chef who made me every meal so I never have to step foot in the kitchen.
This. I hate cooking but there's no other way of feeding myself, especially when all restaurants and the work canteen are closed.

Would also love to visit every single country in the world, coming back for 1-2 week breaks in between. It would probably take 10 years to do that, but I love travelling and wish I had so much money I could go anywhere I wanted, flying business class and staying in nice hotels!

NYCDreaming · 15/12/2020 17:20

Two more children! A cleaner and a personal chef. Then I could just swan about doing all the fun stuff. Oh and I would always have my hair and nails done nicely.

SunscreenCentral · 15/12/2020 17:25

Somebody to take care of clothes, wash them, dry them, iron if necessary.
And set out my clothes for the next day every night, relative to whatever I have to do.
That would be heavenly

Waxonwaxoff0 · 15/12/2020 17:30

I'd have a cleaner for sure and a chauffeur. Spend my days writing and travelling.

hopeishere · 15/12/2020 18:04

I'd have a chef. Lockdown has killed my interest in cooking.

Fortheweekend · 15/12/2020 18:06

I’d pay dh to tickle my feet for hours. I ask him every night but he’ll do it for all of five minutes. It’s the one thing which really relaxes me. I’d pay him £££ to do that.

FastFood · 15/12/2020 18:13

I would have a proper spa centre.
A 25m swimming pool to swim 1k every morning.
Then 1 hour in a floatation tank, after the swim, to relax the muscles.
And a sauna session on sundays.

And a personal assistant to book my dentist appointments, manage my finance, remind me to call my mum etc...

Tangledtresses · 15/12/2020 18:46

A private jet and several beautiful holidays homes with maids, chefs and staff!!
Also a stylist and clothes shopper person
