Obviously this has been an unforgettable year for all the wrong reasons, but there have also been good things that happened this year. I thought it would be nice to create a thread where people can share the good news about things that have happened this year, whether it's meeting the love of your life, landing the dream job, or maybe a new skill you have learnt, or even just the fact that you have had far more (online) contact with family and friends and got to know them better than you would have done otherwise. Not really an AIBU. I will start with the fact that I have been seeing my extended family online on a weekly basis in a way that we never used to do, and I hope that that will continue long after Covid is over.
