OH tells me his ex who he left for me was wealthy, fit, married and her mother offered to pay him to go away. Why would he tell me 13 years later? Is he hankering? Am I too sensitive? Is he being a total prick and winding me up? This came up a few weeks ago but is clearly still on my mind. Not sure why I posted but perhaps I just needed to thrash it out. Apologies in advance readers. I just think it's really shit behaviour from a 52 yr old who obviously hasn't grown up.

Is he normally a prick?

Totaldick · 09/12/2020 23:04

Yup

Are you sure he never took the money?

Aquamarine1029 · 09/12/2020 23:08

If he's normally a prick, I think this stupid comment is the least of your problems.

KellyJonesLeatherTrousers · 09/12/2020 23:08

Why is it bothering you? Your OP doesn’t say that he was comparing you to her or anything, just some old story that’s probably only partly true.

NotPrude · 09/12/2020 23:09

Think you'll struggle to get sympathetic answers when you've admitted you were the OW...

Yeah. Anyway - he cheated on her. Why would expect him not to be a prick?
Suckmyfatone · 09/12/2020 23:24

What made you think this wanker was going to change for you?

If someone is a prick when they're 40, pretty much guaranteed they're gonna be a prick for the rest of their lives.

Barmyfarmy · 09/12/2020 23:43

Any man who has an OW was always a prick, OP. Good Luck with your next one (unless he's already there)
