I don’t know what I can achieve here but I am so pissed off.
I ordered an expensive piece of Jewellery and it was delivered by Yodel. They emailed and said they had delivered and posted it through my letterbox. When I got home I checked, no delivery. Looked outside and checked with neighbours, nope nothing. Searched for ages on how to contact Yodel and spoke to someone on web chat.
In answer to my query they said that yes it had defiantly been delivered. Err no, defiantly not. Web chat person said they would look into it and email me their response, great.
Email arrives today saying:
They have spoken to the driver and he says he defiantly posted it through letterbox. They also have satnav data that says he was in my road. I need to contact original supplier if I have a problem, hands washed of anything. WTAF!
I contact supplier and explain what Yodel have done / said. No problem they say we will redeliver. Very nice of them and great customer service but are you not bothered that Yodel are saying they are delivering and it’s not actually delivering?
Anyway this evening a neighbour from the next road brings me my parcel. I am very grateful and immediately check the address in case it was my mistake. Nope, my address and name correct.
Why do Yodel get away with this and why is it so fucking hard to make an actual complaint? I now have to return the next package if it comes.
