i sometimes was thinking this. pets are our world as they should gbe, but we never seem to care about leaving homeless people out in the cold is it just me?

i just meant its sad how many people walk on the other side of the road to avoid them almost like forgetting they are still people.

Having been followed and harrassed by a mentally ill homeless person several times (he lived in the park across from my apartment, and was convinced I'd stolen his thoughts), I walk to the other side of the street to avoid risk. Not because I don't think they are people.

Homeless people aren’t pets, OP. You must understand it’s a whole lot more complicated than that.

I hate this " is it just me" that's become so popular. Oh yes it's just you because you're so unique.

I do too. As if OP is the only person in the world with the empathy and humanity to appreciate the plight of homeless people (conveniently ignoring the existence of the many volunteers, charities, donors etc who do real, tangible work to help address homelessness).

Yes, that reminds me of a bad experience with a homeless man when he made some very personal remarks (about my period, breasts).

It makes you wary and whilst I do give money occasionally I don’t linger for a chat.
