To ask about Yodel and delivery drivers

I will keep this short.

Yodel have a bad rep but I have one delivery driver who regularly delivers parcels. He is so kind and friendly. Are Yodel drivers allowed to accept gifts or will he get into trouble? I always give the postman a bottle of wine. I would like to do similar for the Yodel man but don’t want him to get into trouble.

So many threads moaning about delivery drivers, so it is lovely to read this. I can't see why he would get into trouble but I would check with him first just in case.

No idea but now I’m wondering if you live near me because my Yodel guy (yes OP, he’s mine Grin) is adorable!

We don't have many parcels from Yodel so wouldn't recognise if ours was a regular but we have the same woman who delivers for My Hermes and she's lovely! Thanks for the idea op, might give mine a bottle of wine, we give chocs to the postie and usually a tub of heroes to the binmen but you're right in that a lot of parcel delivery drivers get a bad rep but there are some gems out there and it's good to let them know that they're appreciated!

My BIL drives for yodel and comments on how nice it is when people leave little gifts outside (sweets/chocs etc). I don't think there would be any issue with a larger gift like a bottle of wine. It will probably make your delivery drivers day!

I’m so pleased people have been inspired to give gifts to their delivery people. I am definitely going to be giving Mr Yodel a bottle of wine and a card. Cheers to all of those who help us Wine
