How to send a piano stool?

I am advertising a piano stool for sale at a good price, on EBay. Because of its size I have listed it as collection only. I seem to have lots of watchers but no takers yet. I think if I could “post” it, it would be better. I really don’t trust Hermès, the only breakages I’ve ever had have been with them. Any ideas please about how I could send it? Other people are advertising delivery for about £8. I can’t see how they can do that!

I think the cost of postage would be too much - you could try looking at parcel2go where you can compare prices - at the end of the day you can say how much postage would cost - if someone really wants it they will have to pay! you could also suggest that any buyer is welcome to organise their own courier. I recently bought a chair on ebay and found a man with a van to collect it for me

Oh ok, thanks! I’ll look into that, I just don’t understand how other people appear to be doing it for £8!

no idea, maybe they're delivering themselves? I think some people that sell furniture regularly probably have a 'man with a van' they can pay by hour to do deliveries
