To be bothered by this car's registration?

I have my eye on a car. I like everything about it except the number plate:

FF69 XSP

(Imagine here that my name really is FlipFlopping, so the FF is my initials. Actually my name is something else but the letters are my initials, if you see what I mean, so if I were called Mary Brown it would be MB69 XSP)

I am slightly worried that people will think I have a personalised number plate with my initials followed by 69.

Please reassure me that I am worrying over nothing.

Vote YABU if you think the number plate is fine.
Vote YANBU if you think everyone will assume I've basically put my sex life on my number plate.

I have zero interest looking at car number plates, I sometimes forget what my own car reg is.

The country’s about to be full of 69 number plates. Everyone will be completely inured to them. They won’t sit and consider the drivers so initials.

Saying that I did rush to buy a 19 plate.

The 69 plate has been and gone and a quick google tells me that over 1.2m cars were registered during its 6 months

69 is a funny number but it is JUST a number lol my bros reg has BUM written in it and it always makes me laugh. Its just silly though. I wouldnt think he chose to have bum on his reg, unless he did????

I don't think anyone will notice. I have a private plate. When I had an accident and the repair company came to collect it they didn't realise it was a private plate and looked horrified when I said I had no MOT certificate for it (the car was 2 years old and the plate made it appear 14 years old).

Don't worry. There are cars in my work car park with VAG and KNB plates, frequently parked next to each other. Now that does makes me smirk. Your plate wouldn't even register with me.

I wouldn't notice. The only ones I notice are really obviously personalised. If it looks like a standard 69 plate reg then it wouldn't even occur to me that it might be personalised.

One of our neighbours has a license plate tat whenever I look at it it says paedo (with 0 abd 3 in there). I think it's just my eyes abd honestly don't think he's got it personalised to look like that! I'd think the same if I even noticed yours! Like oh that's quite funny but nothing more.
