We went to soft play this morning and it was such a joyful change!

Haven't been anywhere inside for 11 months!

Who knew soft play could be a slightly emotional event!

Its funny how much you miss things when they aren't available.
I've got swimming lessons after school. I'm not looking forward to wearing a mask in the hot, humid viewing gallery... Yet I am looking forward to it at the same time. DDs very excited as well.

Out of interest, why did you not go anywhere inside over the summer?

We went a few times when our local one reopened. Never thought I would enjoy softplay so much!

Gutted we're tier 3 now and they're closed again.

We didn't go anywhere inside over summer because we were doing a round of ivf and were being careful because of frequent testing. Scared of having the cycle cancelled!

I actually miss crowds. I used to find them a bit overwhelming, but now the thought of being somewhere bustling (think airports at Christmas) just fills me with joy.

I just can’t wait to go to a packed, bustling restaurant again.

DS hasn't gone anywhere inside 🤷🏻‍♀️ he doesn't even go into shops he doesn't need to imo. He's 16mo so not missing out going into a shop!

No wasn't busy, strict session times etc. Adults have to wear masks all the time so I was perfectly happy to leave at my allotted time so I could get the damn thing off!

I miss going to the library!!!

I went for lunch today with my husband. It was amazing. Felt sorry for them though as we were the only customers, but it felt like such a treat. I even had a glass of wine as he’s going to do school pick up.

I saw a plane flying the other day . 1st plane I had seen in over a year . I don't live under a fight path but there is a fight path just over a mile away where I use to live . I was like a little kid seening plane for 1st time .

I miss the rhyme time sessions at the library. I went back PT after mat leave so used to take my DS to the Wednesday morning session and he absolutely adored it. He goes to toddler football with DH at the weekend now which is nice but I’m dying to get back to rhyme time especially now DS sings along and does the actions!

So happy soft play is back! Have booked in 2 sessions a week up to Xmas and breakfast with santa there on Christmas eve! My lo needs to burn of some energy somewhere else than a soggy Park!

Tier 3 here so nothing is open inside
