Here it is.
Thanks @BruceandNosh for the title.

And still we persist.

Sounds like it's possible come Jan 20th Trump may find he's not on many Repug's fast dial lists after all. The results of Georgia runoffs may be the final cut-off point as to whether they bin him or not.

If Trump really does veto the NDAA (last attempted to fuck all effect by one Barack Obama, apparently) then it will be interesting to see the Republicans do in the runoffs.

Just for the record, I don't really know (or care) about Trumps possible Covid claims. I was specifically referring to the UKs own blond bombshell - a proven liar who I would trust to tell me it was day without looking out of the window myself.

@Soopermum1
Thank you for the Ivanka article. I do think the Trump family chickens will be coming home to roost, not least because I imagine they treat staff, secret service personnel etc with contempt, and forget they are intelligent beings. I think there will be a lot of stories come January.
Thanks also because I read on to the lovely story about the koala in the Christmas tree. Proper got me in the mood!

I believe we have now reached peak batshittery.

Roger Stone: “I just learned of absolute incontrovertible evidence of North Korean boats delivering ballots through a harbor in Maine”

The comments on this Reddit thread about it are fabulous.

Personally the fact the recounts varied from the original count in every case pretty much tells me this election wasn't rigged. I'd have been much more concerned if they were identical every time.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 03/12/2020 15:39

My immediate thought about the Stone person was that he said boats but meant bots. An easy mistake to make if you are batshit crazy anyway.

So why would bots need to use Maine Harbour ?
BruceAndNosh · 03/12/2020 15:59

Any future candidate for office should be made to sign a written undertaking to accept election result. Penalty = prison.

HoneysuckIejasmine · 03/12/2020 15:59

Stone looks like he's been to Trump beauty school since prison. Orange cheeks but seems to stop by his ears.

Not really - that's merely normalises Trumps behaviour - and appeals to his exceptionalism.

Maybe we should all sign something to say we're not going to break the law ?

How would you feel, if you visited a friends house, and they made a point of asking you not to shit in the sink ?

They'd have to get into the country somehow?

@Soopermum1

Hi all. Thought I'd introduce myself. I get a lot of my updates here now as the mainstream media seems to have tired of Trump and his antics
Hello and welcome. Smile

If that's what he's arguing, then I suspect he doesn't really know what "bots" are ...

I suspect he doesn't know what day it is, DGR, let alone what a bot is.

@EveryoneRevealsThemselves

Have you seen Trump’s latest speech? He’s utterly lost the plot. This is insane.
www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election-2020/cnn-trump-speech-jim-acosta-b1765693.html

Donald Trump delivered a surprise speech on Wednesday that reporters and American networks condemned, and some would not show audiences, because it included baseless attacks on the election process.

(contd)

Presumably on OANN. Oh, hang on ...

www.theguardian.com/technology/2020/nov/24/oann-suspended-youtube-cure-covid-19

YouTube has suspended the conservative news outlet One America News Network from posting new videos for a week and from making money off of its existing videos after it promoted a sham cure for Covid-19.

A chilling read

Trump’s Cruel And Unusual Parting Gift: A Spree Of Federal Executions

Unfortunately, if you're going to have the death penalty, then you're going to have this sort of situation from time to time.

Probably better not have the death penalty, really.

DuncinToffee · 03/12/2020 18:08

Agreed. Covid would be a fitting souvenir for it's supporters but sadly the virus doesn't discriminate like that.

Trump can boast to be the greatest executioner of the last 50 years

DGRossetti · 03/12/2020 18:11

Trump can boast to be the greatest executioner of the last 50 years

Bet he doesn't.

But why not ? Once you've decided it's your call to kill people based on the caprices of the law, you should own it too.

Mittens030869 · 03/12/2020 18:25

Trump can boast to be the greatest executioner of the last 50 years

And not just the people actually executed. His actions will potentially be directly responsible for 250k Covid-19 deaths between now and January.

He really does have blood on his hands. And all he cares is creating as much chaos as he possibly can before he leaves office in January.

BoreOfWhabylon · 03/12/2020 18:28

Dear god. From Duncin's Huffpost link

Since it reinstated capital punishment at the federal level this summer, the Trump administration has killed more death row prisoners than the U.S. government has done in the last five decades combined.

What a legacy.

Mittens030869 · 03/12/2020 18:39

Unfortunately, Trump's adoring supporters lap all this up. He really doesn't care what the rest of the world thinks about his actions.
