Ireland - will restrictions allow UK visitors around Christmas?

Any Irish mumsnetters - restrictions are going to relax in Ireland around Christmas, does anybody know if that might include being able to come in from the UK without 14 days isolation?

I know we could isolate 5 days and then have a test but wondering if anybody has heard anything else? Will households be able to mix? We could isolate at a family members house as it will be empty over this period.

The households mixing is 3 different households. The travel stuff is confusing, you can travel but you're supposed to isolate if you're coming from a "Red" area which the UK is

This should give you the information you need

no, there is no relaxtion of quarantine rules, you will need to isolate for 14 days, or have a negative test and 5 days.
