It didn't happen to me but say you got back home and you found out that your flatmate (female) had been out for dinner with your boyfriend who had come to meet you, but you were still out, and that they had spent the last couple of hours together talking before you got back ?

Would it be such a big deal if your flatmate was male and your bf had gone out for something to eat with him? Why can't males and females be friendly without suspicion?

flaviaritt · 30/11/2020 17:19

Did he come by expecting her (the GF) to be there because of a prior arrangement to meet?

TidyDancer · 30/11/2020 17:19

I can't see this being a problem. Wouldn't it be a good thing if they get on?

Creepertime · 30/11/2020 17:22

Would not bother me at all. I’m not the jealous type though at all.

So he turns up, asks if girlfriends in. She's not.

Him: oh, OK, erm... (not sure if he should ask to wait here or not). Oh, I'm starving I'll probs just nip out for some food then, I saw a nice restaurant nearby.

Her: ooh the Italian one down X road?

Him: yeah I think so.

Her: oh, mind if I come with? I've wanted to go there ages but always forget.

Him: yeah why not.

Her: Cool I'll grab my coat, how's work?

Normal.
