to be having vivid dreams about the past

I think it's being in lockdown and not meeting -many- any people and just not having an awful lot going on in my life atm, but I'm having these really dramatic dreams, and bringing up people I haven't thought about for years - some I wish I didn't have to think about! Anyone else? It's particularly vivid in the early morning, especially if I wake up and then go back to sleep - happened at the weekend cos I had a lie in.

Yes, I had a dream last night about somebody I haven't seen in years, vaguely erotic too. But then I'm on my own all this week and I never like sleeping alone. Perhaps that has something to do with it. It's also the strange times we live in. I'll be so glad when Boris announces that all restriction will be lifted.

I'm experiencing exactly the same, since the first lockdown in March. Especially, as you say, after early waking and going back to sleep. I've heard other people say the same thing. It's fascinating how widespread this seems to be.

Same here! Several ex boyfriend dreams at the weekend- all very disconcerting!

I'm the same but it's not a result of lockdown, I very often dream of people from long ago in the past. I dream about a member of my school friendship group who I don't have much to do with anymore, at least a couple of times a month. We didn't fall out or anything we just drifted apart, but it's like my subconscious mind misses her more than my conscious one does - if that makes sense! I always wake up feeling slightly down and the feeling lasts all day.

Exactly the same here. Very strange
